This ad for Priceline is one of those times where you just have to wonder what were they thinking? As much as I like William Shatner, given the threat of terrorism today, I don’t find this ad to be funny. Daniel Pearl’s family wouldn’t find this ad to be funny, and neither would the American hostages who just returned from Colombia.
There’s nothing funny about being kidnapped while traveling. I was considering checking out Priceline to look for travel deals, but this commerical has soured me on the company.
Nice going, Priceline.
