Visa Gets It Right

This is a great ad from the Visa Business Network. The play on scale in the image forces the reader pay attention to the ad. The reader lingers on the page, because the inclination is to start examining the purse to see if it’s real. The digital image manipulation is masterful—there’s nothing in the image that betrays the fact that it’s not real.

The headline relates to the ad’s message: WE’RE ANYTHING BUT SMALL. They’re saying that  small companies with big ideas need Visa.

The image relates to the ad’s message and the headline. And the advertiser has wisely limited the amount of copy.

Finally, the image of the Visa card and the logo are prominent enough so that the reader understands which company the ad is promoting.

Good job.
