Notice how they cleverly included the words “pro-planet,” lest someone mistake them for one of those companies that are anti-planet.
This ad was crafted to project the image that Odwalla is some funky little earthy-crunchy company run by hippies in a shed, which it once was. Who can forget those days, back when microbes ran free and the company was fined $1.5 million for killing and sickening children with deadly e-coli bacteria.
Today, the company’s products are completely safe and it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Coca-Cola Company.
