Long ago, in a galaxy far away, there was something called The Star Wars Holiday Special. Originally broadcast on Friday, November 17, 1978, it featured such luminaries as Bea Arthur, Harvey Korman, Diahann Carroll, and Jefferson Starship.
The show was so bad that George Lucas reportedly said, “If I had the time and a sledgehammer, I would track down every copy of that show and smash it.”
